Easy Chocolate Easter Nests!
Here’s a quick guide to making Easy Chocolate Easter Nests which are a bit messy but loads of fun for your little one to make mostly on their own with with a little help from you!
Ok you got me – they are cornflake treats with a twist! But while we’re all stuck on lockdown it might be that little bit harder to keep them away from the choclate eggs – my little boy is constantly asking if its Easter yet, meanwhile mummy doesn’t even know what day it is! So we made these in about 20 mins and it was so much fun!
What you’ll need;
- Bar of chocolate
- Cornflkes / Rice Krispies
- Mini Eggs / Sprinkles
- Cupcake cases
Firstly you’ll need to melt the chocolate in an oven proof bowl of a pot of simmering water. Once melted and slightly cool your little one can step in and add the cereal of choice slowly and mix together until all the cereal is covered in melted chocolate. Next spoon the mixture into cupcake cases on a tray. Lastly decorate with mini eggs or sprinkles! Put the tray in the fridge for about half an hour for the chocolate to harden and voila! Just try not to eat them all they’re so yummy!
