My name is Amanda and I am the proud owner of Little Learners Exeter South. I am married and have 3 children- Charlotte, Lucy and Harry. I am a qualified Primary School Teacher and have 13 years teaching experience. For almost half of those years I have taught in EYFS- Reception and Pre School. I love working in the Early Years and strongly believe that children learn best through exploring and through play.
Each week we focus on a different Mark Maker character – Lionel, Archie, Swirlo and Ziggy. We make their marks within the class in a variety of fun and interesting ways! I plan a new theme each week based on one of the Mark Maker characters. Activities include wet and dry messy play trays, drawing, painting, play dough, water play, mark making activities and fine motor activities. These help to develop your child’s fine motor skills, hand- eye coordination and strengthen their core muscles.
At Little Learners Exeter South, I aim to have welcoming, relaxed classes that you can enjoy exploring with your little ones and the bonus is, that I will clean up the mess afterwards!
If you have any questions, please email me at amandab@littlelearnersuk.com
At Little Learners, parties are tailored to your child’s interests. I can theme your party to anything you choose – dinosaurs, farm, under the sea, cartoon characters, book characters are to name a few.
All you need to do is find and book a venue and I bring everything that is required for messy play. I set up your messy play party, deliver the session and clean up afterwards!
The party room would be typically set up with a variety of themed wet and dry messy play trays, painting, drawing, play dough and crafts!
I offer different packages, so please email me for more information at amandab@littlelearnersuk.com
“My toddler and preschooler have been attending the classes since the Exeter group started and have loved coming to the sessions to get messy every week. Amanda is great with the children and her messy play ideas are amazing for each theme; there’s always a good variety of activities for the children to engage in which change each week. It’s been so nice to find a messy play session that is not only local to Exeter but caters for a variety of ages so my children can attend together at the same time. Highly recommend!”
My daughter (21 months) has been attending in Dawlish with my husband and I for 2 terms now and she loves it! We attended this morning and when she woke up after her nap she asked if we were going back
Amanda is super welcoming and goes to so much effort to set up really engaging activities that promote imagination and creativity. Its a great morning out for us to do some shared activities that I don’t need to plan or set up.
