Easy Mothers’ Day card for toddlers

Here is a super easy Mothers’ Day card to make with your toddler! I love cards that little ones can do themselves but also look effective. You only need a few bits for this one too and can be made very quickly. Mums and Grandmas will love this! So go on and have a go!

Easy Mothers’ Day card

You will need:

  • A piece of card
  • Tissue paper
  • Glue
  • Glue spreader or paintbrush (if using PVA glue)
  • Pens

How to make the card:

  1. Fold the card in half
  2. Next, draw a heart to fill most of the front of the card
  3. Cut up small squares of tissue paper
  4. Show your toddler how to paint/spread glue all over the heart. You can do this bit for them if they need a little help.
  5. Let your toddler go wild sticking tissue paper onto the glue. The beauty of this is it looks cute however they are stuck on!
  6. Add the words ‘I love you to pieces’ onto the front
  7. Don’t forget to let your toddler make marks in the card themselves!

Hope you enjoy making your cards! Please share pictures with me if you make one!
