What did Laura from Little Messy Learners Kwinana, Cockburn & Melville have to say about owning a franchise with us?

I began the process of purchasing a Little Messy Learners franchise in October 2020 when my daughter was 8 months old. It was not long until I was due to return from maternity leave and I knew I wanted to change careers to something that would suit my family life better and would make me feel as though I was giving something to the community. The discovery process was brilliant, I was given an exciting prospectus, spoke at length with Rachel over several nights on the phone and via email and I took my little girl along to do some classes with the fabulous Jenny at Little Messy Learners in Mandurah. I fell in love with the Mark Makers Programme and knew that Little Messy Learners was the perfect fit for me. By February of 2021, all the paperwork was signed and I was ready to launch my very first classes!

Since opening my own franchise I have loved every minute of it. I have gotten to meet so many wonderful children and their families. I have made contacts in the community and with family centres and daycares. I have run so many awesome classes and birthday parties I am starting to lose count. Owning my own franchise means I have the freedom of being my own boss while also having a wonderful group of women behind me to back me every step of the way. I have had to learn to believe in myself and value all of the hard work and effort I put in and I have been able to see my hard work pay off! Seeing your Little Messy Learners go from tiny babies just learning to grip tools and discover the sensory play around them, to 1 and 2-year-olds that are able to use scissors or correctly hold a pencil and then 3 and 4-year-olds who are recognising letters and drawing their very own marks is an incredible journey. It is so rewarding and I am thankful every day that I made the leap and joined the franchise.
