Quick-Reef

This automatic reefing system is the ideal solution for reducing sails easily and avoiding friction on grommets. Combined with a set of deck blocks in the boom, you can directly take in reefs from the cockpit. 

This product is a retro-fit, there is no need to make new holes or alter anything.

Quick-Reef's multiple benefits:

• Will fit on 2 existing grommets (25mm and 35mm)
• No need to alter the sail construction
• Only one sheet to cockpit (using blocks in or on the boom)
• Minimises friction on grommet and rope wear
• Easy installation: only one screw, one nut (supplied)
• Optimises the sail aerodynamics performance: the sail is correctly centered on the boom

Mounting:

Attaching parts are supplied with the reefing set, Mounting is very easy:

1. Mount both cheeks of the reefing system on each side of the existing sail grommet and place the sheave inside.
2. Position the screw in the sheave. Make sure the screw is positioned downwards.
3. Fasten the nut onto onto the screw to hold the unit. Follow the same procedure with the second grommet
