Easter Egg Hunt Cards

If you’re a parent stuck for at home Easter craft ideas then look no further! This blog will tell you all about how to make your very own Easter egg hunt cards!

To make last Easter fun during the first lockdown I made my very own Easter egg hunt. It went down a treat with the kids! Yesterday my 5 year old got excited talking about how she can’t wait for the Easter bunny to hide her eggs for her to find again this year…

OH NO! I haven’t got anything planned this year!

With no time to order anything during such a busy period and an antsy child with many questions I decided to make my very own hunt! As well as hunting for eggs I thought it would be a great idea to engage the kids with Easter egg hunt cards that will clue them in as to where to find each egg! This turned out to be such a success and all I needed was a few household items;

  1. Some pieces of coloured card/paper
  2. A couple of colouring pens
  3. A last minute trip to the shop to get some small eggs
  4. Some Easter themed chocolate coins

I’ll probably add some little Easter themed doodles to the instruction cards as well but here’s an example of just how quick you can make these cards! I Googled ‘Easter egg hunt clues’ in order to find some more inspiration for each card, you can do this too or totally wing it and make your own questions!.

And there you have it! You used your initiative and creative flare to make your own beautifully decorated and easy-peasy Easter egg hunt cards! This is a super effective way to engage your Little Ones on their Easter adventure. Happy Trails!!! x
